Projects

I like to work with different technologies. Sometimes I release stuff.

As a front-end developer, I help bring static designs to life using the latest front-end tools & techniques. I've previously enjoyed roles at IBM, Telecommunications Software & Systems Group (TSSG), Emagine Media and am currently loving my role with Clock, a forward-thinking digital agency using the latest technologies who are based just outside of London.

At Clock we use node.js for our backend systems & asset pipeline tools, a lot of which has been made open-source. Our front-end stack also consists of Jade for templating and Stylus, a fantastic css pre-processor.

When I can, I like to play with numerous technologies such as Vue.js, React, Feathers.js, and asset pipeline tools such as Gulp & Webpack. Also, I've always been a big fan of Laravel, a PHP framework, but for realtime & REST APIs, Feathers.js (node.js) is proving to be a lot of fun.

I contribute to open-source projects as often as I can, I recently released a Stylus CSS framework called Stylus-UI and have contributed documentation and example apps to the Feathers.js project, but would really like to publish some of my own apps as soon as they're fit for public consumption.

I like to write & record rock music.

Bring the noise

I've been a musician for many years now and played my first live gig when I was 13 years old (security wouldn't initially let me in). Since then I've played guitar and drums for numerous bands, some which have achieved moderate success in the past.

These days my endeavours are happily confined to my home-recording setup.
